Trauma Therapist in Cleveland

    Who do you work with?

I work with adults who are carrying the weight of past experiences, whether that’s childhood trauma, complicated family dynamics, or the kind of stress that quietly builds over time.

Many of my clients are college students, young professionals, high achievers, athletes, and healthcare workers—people who are used to showing up for everyone else, often while silently struggling on the inside.

I also support those navigating complex trauma, relational wounds, or the emotional impact of caring for others (vicarious trauma).

What is your approach to trauma therapy?

My approach to trauma therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I don’t believe in forcing you to relive every detail—instead, we focus on building safety, working at your pace, and reconnecting with the parts of you that may feel stuck or overwhelmed.

I use a mix of evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness and grounding techniques to support both mind and body in the healing process.

You’re the expert on your experience; my role is to walk alongside you, offer tools, and create a space where meaningful change can happen.

What should I expect from trauma therapy with you?

Trauma work can be uncomfortable, but I’m here to make sure it’s always a safe and supportive space where you feel seen and respected.

Along the way, we’ll also explore how trauma shows up in your relationships with family, friends, partners, or at work, and how it might be affecting your sense of trust, boundaries, or self-worth.

Healing often involves unpacking these patterns and learning new ways to connect, communicate, and take care of yourself. It’s all about helping you build healthier relationships—with others and with yourself.
